I hope that this blog post finds you enjoying the windy weather in Pennsylvania. Mike and I were terribly grateful to get off the ground in Philadelphia, and then Orlando without any issues. As you can see Mikehad his " It's five o'clock somewhere!" beer in the airport. On the flight from Orlando to Aguadilla i met a lovely woman named Trisha who gave me some tips to what we would want to see on the island. She's lived here for the past eight years and says they haven't visited all the beaches yet. I'm hoping that we might get to see her one more time while we're visiting.
Here is our amazing little studio. The people who own it must have been doing this for a while, because almost everything that we could want is here. Of course. We stopped at walmart to do grocery shopping. If you know me, you know that I love to be able to cook at home when i'm away! I don't know how people eat out three meals a day, where do they find the time! Don't worry.I'm sure I'll do some cooking videos at some point.
Here is a tour of our property for the next two weeks. I didn't do an inside walkthrough because we've already unpacked, and it's not as neat as it was in the first photo. I hope that the quality's okay. I had to condense the video to get it to upload.
The house that we are renting is right next to a public beach. So far we have not seen anyone use it. This is incredibly nice because we only have neighbors on one side. As soon as I walked onto the beach, I met our neighbors two houses down. They're from Illinois and Oregon. We chatted for a minute and they said, "We have an extra ticket to see the bioluminescence. If you can get another one, you can have this one." I could feel my husband rolling his eyes because I meet amazing people everywhere and they are always so nice to us. So we booked an extra ticket, and we're going to see the glowing bay tonight. You'll have to wait until tomorrow for an update, because we won't be finished until nine o'clock, and you know that i'm going to nap all the way back to our house. Tonight is the best night to do it.Because the moon will be almost nonexistent. Since we didn't book the tour ourselves, i'm only guessing at exactly what it's going to contain, but I believe we kayak, swim and boat in the bay with the bioluminescence. Supposedly the bay on the south-west side of the island is the best place to see it on the island.

If you're wondering where i'm blogging, here's a little taste. Tomorrow i'm hoping to do it a little closer to the beach so that I can get a picture of our iguana friend. If you're wondering what Mike up to, he is adoring his time with reddit. I was just about to close out the blog for the day and say see tomorrow. For more details, when this gorgeous frigate flew overhead. I'm sorry I mean pterodactyl 🤣
I wish I'd caught him a little bit sooner. But these are the best I can do at the moment. I promise to try to get better photographs, especially if I can find them on a cacti, which they seem to like to perch on.
We call him Urdnot 2.0.
